When noticing these symptoms in children it is important to bring them to their physicians to be evaluated. The earlier a child is diagnosed with autism the sooner that child will be able to receive the care and attention that it requires to help minimize the child’s difficulty developing as expecting for their age group. When getting diagnosed physicians will often assess patients in two stages: Stage 1: General Developmental Screening During Well-Child Checkups and Stage 2: Stage 2: Additional Evaluation.
